Working with Sarah of Paperhounds was something to look forward to each day as we traded my pics of Cooper to her progress pics as her work came along. She likes to work right along side of you to be sure she is capturing details as you want and it only took one progress picture for me to know she was well on her way and needed very little input from me. "Spotted Sarah's Facebook page and made contact. Surprise Christmas present for my wife of our German shepherds.
We lost Odin sadly at Easter in 2015 and Loki was our new German shepherd 
and is now 2 years old.

"I heard about Paperhounds through a friend. I wanted to get my parents something special for their Christmas this year. Unfortunately the family dog passed away a couple of months ago so I felt it best to get them a specially made portrait from Paperhounds. After having a look at other positive reviews and looking at some of the fantastic works of art that had been created, I asked the artist if she were able to commission a portrait in time for Christmas. 

 

Fortunately she said yes and it didn't take long. All that was required was some high quality photographs which were sent over email. I was kept updated over email throughout the entire process and the outcome was truly amazing!

 

After seeing the portrait over email first, I was amazed by just how life-like the portrait was. The level of detail was fantastic, especially in the eyes. I know my mum will be brought to tears by it when I hand it over to her on Christmas Day. She was such a special dog and this, I believe, will be such a special gift. 

 

I loved the special touches too. Great care had been taken to wrap the portrait for delivery and the portrait was beautifully presented and wrapped with string.
